Melanie Cox, NP-C is an AANP nationally certified nurse practitioner that has been in the medical field for 27 years. She obtained her Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing in 1996 from Georgia Baptist College of Nursing, practicing nursing for 23 years, before continuing her education and graduating with honors with a Master’s of Science in Nursing from Troy University in 2020.
During her career as a Nurse Practitioner, she has worked in a variety of inpatient and outpatient settings which include Emergency and Intensive Medicine, as well as Family Medicine before joining Joint Regeneration of Lake Oconee.
Melanie was born in Athens, GA and raised in Social Circle, GA where she continues to reside with her husband and daughters. In her leisure times she enjoys spending time with her family, reading, traveling, and beekeeping.
